About the Role

We are seeking a customer-obsessed Junior Account Manager to join our growing sales team. This role focuses on managing a portfolio of Tier 3 and Tier 4 customers—emerging cannabis brands, regional operators, and mid-sized businesses with packaging needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for retaining existing business, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, and uncovering growth opportunities such as upsells and product line expansions.

This is a perfect role for someone looking to grow into a strategic sales role by mastering relationship management, cross-functional collaboration, and revenue growth tactics.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Retention & Experience

  • Conduct regular account health checks to assess satisfaction and identify churn risks.
  • Own post-sale relationships and deliver a seamless experience in partnership with our Customer Success, Operations, and Art teams.
  • Act as the customer’s internal advocate, ensuring prompt issue resolution and effective communication.

Revenue Growth & Upselling

  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling based on account order history, product usage, and industry trends.
  • Present product enhancements and new SKUs as solutions that align with customer goals and KPIs.
  • Track and grow monthly recurring revenue through consultative engagement strategies.

Pipeline & Process Management

  • Maintain 100% accurate CRM hygiene in HubSpot, logging all account activity and forecasting.
  • Prepare and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key accounts to reinforce value and pitch future growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes that support customer retention and satisfaction.


What You'll Bring

  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B account management, customer success, or inside sales.
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding retention and/or sales targets in a quota-driven environment.
  • Experience managing a high volume of customer accounts (50–100+ preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot strongly preferred) and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom).
  • Ability to work independently while juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
  • A proactive, curious mindset and willingness to learn about packaging, compliance, and operational workflows.
  • Ability to travel for 1/4th-1/3rd of time depending on quarter


Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in cannabis, packaging, or highly regulated industries.
  • Previous success in hitting retention and upsell KPIs.
  • Familiarity with automation or labeling workflows is a plus.
