Project Manager

 

Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, development, and execution of testing protocols, product validations, and innovation initiatives within the packaging and print space. This interdisciplinary role focuses on validating new materials, substrates, and product offerings while ensuring projects align with customer needs, regulatory compliance, and company goals. The Product Project Manager will also manage external contract vendors for product development and sourcing initiatives, fostering relationships that drive quality and efficiency.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 
  • Develop and manage test, verification, and qualification plans for new products.
  • Create and execute pilot plans for validating materials and substrates in print and flexible packaging.
  • Oversee product testing to ensure compliance with ASTM, ISO, USP, and CFR standards.
  • Manage external contract vendors for product development and sourcing.
  • Analyze test data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Research and adopt new testing technologies and equipment.
  • Develop educational content on packaging technologies and material degradation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align innovations with market needs.
 

REQUIREMENTS

 
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in R&D or project management in packaging or print industries. 
  • Advanced knowledge of ASTM, ISO, USP, and CFR testing protocols.
  • Strong organizational and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
